Sukta 4.1
स तू नो अग्निर्नयतु प्रजानन्नच्छा रत्नं देवभक्तं यदस्य । धिया यद्विश्वे अमृता अकृण्वन्द्यौष्पिता जनिता सत्यमुक्षन् ॥
स तू नो॑ अ॒ग्निर्न॑यतु प्रजा॒नन्नच्छा॒ रत्नं॑ दे॒वभ॑क्तं॒ यद॑स्य । धि॒या यद्विश्वे॑ अ॒मृता॒ अकृ॑ण्व॒न्द्यौष्पि॒ता ज॑नि॒ता स॒त्यमु॑क्षन् ॥
sá tū́ no agnír nayatu prajā́nann ácchā rátnam devá-bhaktaṃ yád asya | dhiyā́ yád víśve amṛ́tā akṛṇvan dyáuṣ pitā́ janitā́ satyám ukṣan ||
May that Agni lead us, knowing the paths, toward the jewel of divine portion—what is his to give. For by the thought they fashioned it, all the Immortals; and Heaven the Father, the begetter, has poured out the Truth as seed and substance.
