सप्तनवतितमः सर्गः (Yuddha Kāṇḍa 97): Sugrīva’s Onslaught and the Fall of Virūpākṣa

पार्श्वतःपृष्ठतश्चास्यसर्वेयूथाधिपास्स्वयम् ।अनुजह्रुर्महाशैलान् विविधांश्चमहाद्रुमान् ।।।।

tathā tutau saṃmyati samprayuktau |

tarasvinau vānararākṣasānām ||

Thus, locked in close combat, the mighty forces of the vānaras and the rākṣasas met and clashed together.

All the leaders of the army themselves seizing hold of huge mountains and trees of several kinds followed his side.
