Roaring in battle with a mighty voice, the great Sugrīva struck down many others and pressed on toward the foremost of the rākṣasas.
The Rakshasa king, having destroyed the forest rangers, thereafter, went to Raghava hurriedly.
Dharma as protection through strength: force is used not for conquest but to remove violent obstruction and reach the principal threat.
Sugrīva clears lesser enemies and advances toward a leading rākṣasa champion.
