युद्धाय रावणस्य निर्याणं तथा उत्पातदर्शनम् (Ravana’s Mobilization for War and the ظهور of Fatal Portents)
नयनंचास्फुरद्वामंवामोबाहुरकम्पत ।विवर्णवदनश्साकतिंचिदभ्रश्यतस्वनः ।।6.96.35।।
nayanaṃ cāsphurad vāmaṃ vāmo bāhur akampata |
vivarṇa-vadanaḥ sākaṃ kiñcid abhraśyata svanaḥ ||6.96.35||
His left eye twitched; his left arm quivered; his face grew pale, and his voice faltered—hoarse and broken.

Inner conscience and consequence surface even physically; Dharma teaches that wrongdoing destabilizes the doer—mind and body both lose steadiness.
Immediately before battle, personal bodily omens appear on Rāvaṇa, reinforcing the foreboding atmosphere.
The implied virtue is self-examination and humility: recognizing signs and turning back from adharma before irreversible harm.
