हतप्रवीरारामेणनिराशाजीवितेवयम् ।।।।अपश्य्नत्योभयस्यान्तमनाथाविलपामहे ।

Transliteration

hata-pravīrā rāmeṇa nirāśā jīvite vayam |

apaśyantyo bhayasyāntam anāthā vilapāmahe ||6.95.25||

Translation

With our foremost heroes slain by Rāma, we have lost hope of life; unable to see any end to this terror, we wail like the unprotected.
