इन्द्रजित्-लक्ष्मणयुद्धम् तथा वानरप्रोत्साहनम् (Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras)
तेशराःशिखिसम्पर्शानिपतन्तस्समाहिताः ।राक्षसान् दारयामासुर्वज्राणीवमहागिरीन् ।।।।
te śarāḥ śikhisamparśā nipatantaḥ samāhitāḥ |
rākṣasān dārayāmāsur vajrāṇīva mahāgirīn ||
Those well-aimed arrows, as if blazing with the touch of fire, fell and tore through the Rākṣasas—like thunderbolts splitting great mountains.
Those burning arrows falling on Rakshasas touched the Rakshasas and split them like thunderbolt splitting mountains.
The verse frames force as legitimate when used with discipline and right alignment (samāhita). Dharma is not mere power; it is power governed by steadiness and rightful cause.
Arrows strike the rākṣasa forces with devastating effect, compared to thunderbolts splitting mountains.
