Today, the arrows released from my bow will pierce Rāvaṇi and descend upon Laṅkā—like swans alighting upon a lotus-pond.
Saumithri fully equipped with shields, swords, shafts, and golden bow joyfully, touched Rama's feet with reverence and spoke.
Dharma as resolute commitment to a just mission: Lakṣmaṇa declares determined action against adharma, aligning martial force with righteous purpose.
Lakṣmaṇa speaks to Rāma, affirming that he will strike down Rāvaṇa’s son and press the fight into Laṅkā.
Vīrya (valor) and niścaya (firm resolve), expressed as a disciplined vow in service of righteousness.
