निकुम्भिला-यज्ञविघ्नोपदेशः (Counsel to Disrupt the Nikumbhilā Rite)

सत्सन्दिशमहाबाहोलक्ष्मणंशुभलक्षणम् ।राक्षसस्यविनाशायवज्रंवज्रधरोयथा ।।।।

Transliteration

rāghavaṃ ca mahātmānam ikṣvākukulanandanam |

dadarśa moham āpannaṃ lakṣmaṇasyāṅkam āśritam ||

Translation

Vibhīṣaṇa saw Rāghava—the great-souled pride of the Ikṣvāku line—overcome by bewilderment and distress, leaning upon Lakṣmaṇa’s lap.

Context

"O mighty armed Rama! send Lakshmana endowed with auspicious qualities for the destruction of Rakshasa like Indra with thunderbolt", conveyed Vibheeshana.
