इन्द्रजितो मायासीतावधः — Indrajit’s Illusory Sita Episode and Hanuman’s Rebuke
तम्दृष्टवात्वभिनिर्यान्तंसर्वेतेकाननौकसः ।उत्पेतुरभिसङ्क्रुद्धाश्शिलाहस्तायुयुत्सवः ।।।।
taṃ dṛṣṭvā tv abhiniryāntaṃ sarve te kānanaukasaḥ |
utpetur abhisaṅkruddhāḥ śilāhastā yuyutsavaḥ ||
Seeing him advancing, all the dwellers of the forest sprang up in wrath, eager for battle, with rocks held in their hands.
All the forest animals perceiving Indrajithadvancing became angry and with rocks in hand faced him with enthusiasm.
Protective duty (rakṣaṇa-dharma) is foregrounded: the Vānaras rise to defend their cause against an aggressor, showing righteous resistance to adharma.
Indrajit advances; the Vānaras respond immediately, arming themselves with stones and preparing to engage.
Courage and loyalty—readiness to fight for Rāma’s righteous mission despite fearsome opposition.
