With the intent to delude everyone’s minds, that wicked one, determined to kill Sītā, went forth facing the host of the vānaras.
Evil minded Indrajith, made up his mind to hoodwink every one who decided to kill Sita and went towards the Vanaras.
Satya (truth) is attacked through mohana (delusion). The Ramayana’s dharmic lens treats deliberate mass-deception to enable violence as a mark of moral downfall.
Indrajit advances toward the Vānaras to execute a deceptive plan centered on the (illusory) killing of Sītā.
The Vānara side’s loyalty to Rāma (and to truth) is implicitly tested; Indrajit’s lack of restraint highlights the opposite of kṣānti (forbearance) and dharmic conduct.
