अर्चिस्सहस्रविकचरविमण्डलसप्रभम् ।स मुष्टिंपातयामासकुम्भस्योरसिवीर्यवान् ।।।।
arcis-sahasra-vikacara-vimaṇḍala-saprabham |
sa muṣṭiṃ pātayāmāsa kumbhasyorasi vīryavān ||
Then the valiant Sugrīva drove down his fist upon Kumbha’s chest—his blow gleaming like the sun’s disc, ringed with a thousand spreading rays.
Sugriva, the champion pressed his first which shone like the Sun encircled with rays on the chest of Kumbha.
Dharma is framed as the triumph of rightful strength over violent aggression; the hero’s force is depicted as luminous and order-restoring.
Sugrīva delivers a decisive fist-strike to Kumbha’s chest.
Prowess (vīrya) joined with determination in protecting the righteous cause.
