युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः (Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva)

Struck there by him, Sugriva—the bull among the Vanaras, mighty in strength—tightened his fist, hard as a thunderbolt.
Then mighty Sugriva, the bull among Vanaras, hit by the fist, clenched his fist adamantly.
Dharma is expressed as steadiness under attack: a righteous leader does not collapse into panic but gathers resolve and responds with measured strength.
After being struck, Sugrīva prepares to counterattack by clenching his fist with determination.
Courage and resilience (dhairya/śaurya) in the face of injury.
