द्रुमवर्षंतुसञ्छिन्नंदृष्टवाकुम्भोनवीर्यवान् ।।।।वानराधिपति: शीमान्महासत्त्वो न विव्यथे ।
drumavarṣaṃ tu sañchinnaṃ dṛṣṭvā kumbhena vīryavān | vānarādhipatiḥ śrīmān mahāsattvo na vivyathe ||
Seeing that Kumbha had shattered the rain of trees, the valiant, illustrious lord of the Vānaras—great in spirit—did not waver.
Valiant hero, the prosperous and noble Sugriva, the chief of Vanaras did not get distressed when tormented with rain of trees.
Dhairya (steadfast courage) in a righteous struggle: setbacks should not disturb one’s commitment to the just cause.
Although Kumbha destroys the incoming tree-shower, Sugrīva remains unshaken and continues the fight.
Dhairya and utsāha (unbroken resolve and energy).
