अङ्गदःप्रतिविद्धाङ्गोवालिपुत्रो न कम्पते ।शिलापादपवर्षाणितस्यमूर्ध्निववर्ष ह ।।।।

Transliteration

aṅgadaḥ pratividdhāṅgo vāliputro na kampate |

śilāpādapavarṣāṇi tasya mūrdhni vavarṣa ha ||

Translation

Though his body was pierced, Aṅgada—son of Vālin—did not waver; upon Kumbha’s head he rained down rocks and uprooted trees.
