tasminn antare maindo vīro vānarayūthapaḥ | yūpākṣaṃ tāḍayāmāsa talenorasi vīryavān ||
Meanwhile, Mainda—the valiant leader of the Vānara host—struck Yūpākṣa upon the chest with his palm.
