तेतुवृक्षान् समादायसम्प्रचिपुराहवे ।खडगेनप्रतिचिच्छेदतान् प्रजङ्घोमहाबलः ।।।।
te tu vṛkṣān samādāya sampracikṣipur āhave | khaḍgena praticiccheda tān prajaṅgho mahābalaḥ ||
In the thick of battle they seized trees and hurled them forth; but the mighty Prajaṅgha cut them down with his sword.
In the comb at the Vanaras seizing hold of trees hurled violently and mighty Prajaghna with his sword shattered them
Skill and alertness in battle are part of kṣātra-dharma: one must meet force with competent defense, minimizing disorder and protecting one’s side.
Vānaras use uprooted trees as missiles; Prajaṅgha counters by slicing them mid-attack with his sword.
