Shloka 6.75.45

लङ्कादाह-प्रचोदनं तथा वानर-राक्षस-समरारम्भः (The Burning of Lanka and the Outbreak of Battle)

तेषुवानरमुखेषुदीप्तोल्कोज्ज्वलपाणिषु ।स्थितेषुद्वारमासाद्यरावणंमन्युराविशत् ।।।।

teṣu vānaramukheṣu dīptolkāujjvalapāṇiṣu | sthiteṣu dvāram āsādya rāvaṇaṃ manyur āviśat ||

When the Vānara chiefs, their hands blazing with flaming torches, reached the gate and stood firm there, anger seized Rāvaṇa.

Holding burning torches in hand the Vanara chiefs reached and standing at the gate, saw that Ravana was overtaken by anger.

It contrasts disciplined resolve with uncontrolled anger: righteous action is steady, while adharma is often marked by wrath that clouds judgment.

The Vānara leaders arrive at Laṅkā’s gate with torches and take their positions; seeing this, Rāvaṇa becomes enraged.

The Vānara leaders’ courage and steadfastness—standing firm at the gate with purposeful readiness.
