ततोवृद्धमुपागम्यनियमेनाभ्यवादयत् ।गृह्यजाम्बवतःपादौहनूमान्मारुतात्मजः ।।6.74.24।।

Transliteration

tato vṛddham upāgamya niyamena abhyavādayat |

gṛhya jāmbavataḥ pādau hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ ||6.74.24||

Translation

Then Hanumān, son of the Wind-god, approached the aged Jāmbavān; observing proper conduct, he clasped his feet and respectfully greeted him.

Thereafter, Hanuman the son of the wind god coming close to the aged Jambavan clasped his feet in accordance with tradition and greeted him.
