After battering the leaders of the vānara troops with maces and golden-hued arrows, he showered Rāma—together with Lakṣmaṇa—with a net-like storm of shafts blazing like the sun’s rays.
Having hurt the Vanara leaders with maces and arrows shining like gold, he rained volley of arrows shining like sun rays on Lakshmana and Rama.
Dharma is tested under suffering: the righteous must maintain composure and purpose even when violence escalates.
Indrajit turns his concentrated missile-storm from the vānara leaders toward Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
Rāma’s steadiness (dhairya): he remains a stable center of dharma though attacked by overwhelming force.
