Dharma warns that extraordinary power (even boon-backed) is not itself righteousness; it can be used to bind and harm, but it cannot guarantee moral victory.

The speaker recalls an earlier moment when Indrajit bound Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with special, boon-conferred arrows.

The brothers’ fame in battle (yauhitau) points to their established heroic reputation, which makes even their temporary binding noteworthy.
