ततस्तुनीलःप्रतिलभ्यसंज्ञांशैलंसमुत्पाट्यसवृक्षषंण्डम् ।ततस्समुत्पत्यभृशोग्रवेशोमहादरंतेनजघानमूर्ध्नि ।।।।
tatas tu nīlaḥ pratilabhya-saṃjñāṃ śailaṃ samutpāṭya savṛkṣaṣaṇḍam |
tataḥ samutpatya bhṛśogra-veśo mahodaraṃ tena jaghāna mūrdhni ||
But Nīla, regaining consciousness, tore up a mountain thick with trees; then, springing forward with fierce speed, he struck Mahodara on the head with it.
Thereafter Neela also regained his senses and uprooting a mountain filled with trees went over Mahodara at high speed and attacked him on the forehead.
Resilience in dharma: after being struck down, Nīla returns to duty, demonstrating that righteousness is upheld through perseverance, not mere invulnerability.
Nīla recovers from the arrow assault, uproots a tree-covered mountain, and counterattacks Mahodara with a crushing blow.
