Though powerful, the Raghu-hero, struck hard by the javelin, flared again and again with burning pain; then King Rāvaṇa, rushing in suddenly, seized him swiftly by both arms.
Lakshmana the eminent hero of Raghu's was badly hurt by the javelin and was burning in pain. King Ravana caught him who was losing consciousness, violently and held him by his shoulders.
Dharma is framed through endurance under suffering: even when struck down, the righteous warrior’s duty is steadiness and resistance against adharma.
Lakṣmaṇa is grievously hit by Rāvaṇa’s śakti; Rāvaṇa closes in and physically seizes the weakened Lakṣmaṇa.
Lakṣmaṇa’s fortitude—his power remains notable even while wounded and reeling.
