सगतासुर्गतश्रीकोगतसत्त्वोगतेन्द्रियः ।पपातसहसाभूमौछिन्नमूलइवद्रुमः ।।।।

Transliteration

sa gatāsuḥ gataśrīko gatasattvo gatendriyaḥ |

papāta sahasā bhūmau chinna-mūla iva drumaḥ ||6.58.56||

With life, splendor, strength, and senses gone, he suddenly fell to the earth like a tree severed at the root.
