Enraged by the storm of arrows, the mighty Nīla struck down Prahastha’s horses with a huge sāla tree.
Neela endowed with great prowess, became angry (by the rain of arrows showered on him) and hurled a huge Sala tree at Prahastha.
Controlled counteraction in battle: after enduring harm, Nīla responds decisively to neutralize the enemy’s mobility—an act consistent with battlefield duty when protecting the righteous host.
Nīla, provoked by arrows, retaliates by hurling/using a massive tree to bring down the horses of Prahastha.
Decisive valor and tactical strength in Nīla.
