संलब्दसंज्ञोगदयावालिपुत्रमवस्थितम् ।।6.54.26।।जघानपरमक्रुद्धोवक्षोदेशेनिशाचरः ।

Transliteration

saṁlabdasaṁjño gadayā vāliputram avasthitam |

jaghāna paramakruddho vakṣodeśe niśācaraḥ |

Translation

Regaining consciousness, the night-ranger—furious—struck Vāli’s son, who stood firm, on the chest with his mace.
