When indeed will I be met by her eager, trembling embrace—and those full breasts, close-set and like palmyra fruits, press against me?

I am eager to cling to her Palmyra fruits like plumpy breasts. Indeed when will I enjoy her embrace?

R
Rāma
S
Sītā

Dharma as legitimate affection within marriage: the verse underscores that love has a rightful place when governed by commitment and righteousness.

Rāma imagines reunion with Sītā and the warmth of mutual embrace, while still preparing to confront adharma in Laṅkā.

Constancy in love: despite hardship and delay, his attachment remains directed toward his lawful spouse alone.
