सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च (Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation)
कारणानिचवक्ष्यामिमहान्तिसदृशानिच ।यथेमौजीवतोदेवीभ्रातरौरामलक्ष्मणौ ।।।।
kāraṇāni ca vakṣyāmi mahānti sadṛśāni ca | yathemau jīvato devī bhrātarau rāmalakṣmaṇau ||
And I shall tell you, O noble lady, the reasons—great and convincing—by which it is so: these two brothers, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, are alive.
"O Devi! Rama and Lakshmana are alive. I see great reasons for this."
Dharma is joined with viveka (discernment): Trijaṭā does not merely soothe but promises reasoned grounds, aligning truth (satya) with rational explanation.
Trijaṭā reassures Sītā that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa live and offers to explain the signs/reasons supporting this.
Trijaṭā’s steadiness and clarity (dhairya and viveka) in the face of fear-driven rumor.
