With Vibhīṣaṇa’s approval, mindful of the duties of kingship (rājadharma), he summoned Aṅgada, Vāli’s son, and spoke these words.

"Mighty Sugriva! You resemble Indra and Varuna in might. Your valour is known to me. I have decided in my mind to kill the sons of Ravana and his relatives in battle, coronate Vibheeshana in Lanka, and hand over the kingdom to Bharata and give up my body."

Rājadharma requires consultation and legitimate procedure; even in war, decisions should be grounded in counsel and duty, not impulse.

Rāma prepares a diplomatic/strategic communication and calls Aṅgada after coordinating with Vibhīṣaṇa.

Dharma-smṛti (mindfulness of duty) and humility to seek approval from informed allies.
