इदानींमाकृथावीर एवंविधमचिन्तितम् ।त्वयिकिञ्चित्समापन्नेकिंकार्यंसीतयामम ।।6.41.4।।भरतेनमहाबाहो लक्ष्मणेनयवीयसा ।शत्रुघ्नेनचशत्रुघ्नस्वशरीरेणवापुन:।। 6.41.5।।

Transliteration

pūrvaṃ tu dvāram āsādya nīlo haricamūpatiḥ |

atiṣṭhat saha maindena dvividena ca vīryavān || 6.41.38 ||

Translation

Then Nīla, the valiant commander of the monkey host, reached the eastern gate and held his ground there together with Mainda and Dvivida.

"O broad shouldered hero, tamer of foes! Do not do this kind of action. Even if you were harmed a bit, O destroyer of foes, of what use is it to me or even to Sita, Bharata, Satrughna or to Lakshmana or even to my body?"
