Shloka 6.41.11

युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

परिगृह्योदकंशीतंवनानिफलवन्तिच ।बलौघंसंविभज्येमंव्यूह्यतिष्ठेमलक्ष्मण ।।6.41.11।।

loka-kṣaya-karaṃ bhīmaṃ bhayaṃ paśyāmy upasthitam |

nibarhaṇaṃ pravīrāṇām ṛkṣa-vānara-rakṣasām ||6.41.12||

I see a dreadful fear drawing near—world-destroying in its effect—a slaughter of the foremost warriors among bears, monkeys, and rākṣasas.

"Lakshmana! We should occupy a region with cool water and good fruits and plan to divide the army and be ready."
