अथतस्मिन्निमित्तानिदृष्टवालक्ष्मणपूर्वजः ।सुग्रीवंसम्परिष्वज्यतथावचनमब्रवीत् ।।6.41.1।।

Transliteration

atha tasmin nimittāni dṛṣṭvā lakṣmaṇa-pūrvajaḥ |

sugrīvaṃ sampariṣvajya tathā vacanam abravīt ||6.41.1||

Translation

Then Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa’s elder brother, having observed those omens, embraced Sugrīva and spoke as follows.
