लङ्काद्वारव्यूहवर्णनम् / Disposition at the Gates of Lanka

tatas tu rāmo mahatā balena pracchādya sarvāṃ pṛthivīṃ mahātmā | prahṛṣṭa-rūpo ’bhijagāma laṅkāṃ kṛtvā matiṃ so ’rivadhe mahātmā ||
Thereafter the great-souled Rāma, with his vast army spread across the earth, advanced toward Laṅkā—his countenance bright with confidence—having firmly resolved upon the destruction of the enemy.
"Rama! Alas, they told me everything of the way evil minded Ravana's army is organized as it is. Listen to me."
Dharma here is righteous resolve in a just cause: once truth is known and duty is clear, action proceeds steadily for the protection of justice.
The host mobilizes and advances; the sarga closes with Rāma’s determined movement toward Laṅkā.
Courage with moral clarity—Rāma’s joy is not cruelty, but confidence rooted in rightful purpose and preparedness.
