Shloka 6.37.8

लङ्काद्वारव्यूहवर्णनम् / Disposition at the Gates of Lanka

भूत्वाशकुनयस्सर्वेप्रविष्टाश्चरिपोर्भलम् ।विधानंविहितंयच्चतद्धृष्टवासमुपस्थिताः ।।।।

suvelārohaṇe buddhiṃś cakāra matimān matim | ramaṇīyataraṃ dṛṣṭvā suvelasya gires taṭam ||

Then wise Rāma, seeing the exceedingly beautiful slopes of Mount Suvela, set his mind upon ascending it.

All of them assumed the form of birds and went deep into Lanka, saw the enemy strength and arrangements made by the enemy and turned up.

Dharma is steadfast purposeful action: Rāma’s resolve shows commitment to the righteous objective, moving from counsel to disciplined execution.

After counsel and assessment, Rāma decides to ascend Mount Suvela as part of positioning the forces near Laṅkā.

Determination (dhṛti) guided by wisdom—he forms a clear plan and acts without hesitation.
