मैन्दश्चद्विविदश्चोभौनिहतौवानरर्षभौ ।।।।निश्श्वसन्तौरुदन्तौचरुधिरेणसमुक्षितौ ।असिनाव्यायतौछिन्नौमध्येह्यरिनिषूदनौ ।।।।

Transliteration

jāmbavān atha jānubhyām utpatan nihato yudhi | paṭṭasair bahubhiś chinnaḥ nikṛttaḥ pādapo yathā ||

Translation

And Jāmbavān, rising in battle upon his knees, was hewn by many paṭṭasa-blades and fell, like a tree cut down.
