As he advances in valor, his prowess is like that of Śakra himself. He was born of a Gandharva maiden through Kṛṣṇavartman; and in the ancient war of gods and demons he arose to aid the dwellers of heaven.
"His valour is equal to that of Indra. He is born to Gandharva, a maiden of the god of fire. He was created for the sake of assisting gods in the war between gods and demons."
Assisting the righteous side to restore cosmic order is presented as dharmic purpose: the warrior’s very origin is tied to protecting the devas in a crisis.
The speaker identifies another Vānara leader by praising his Indra-like valor and giving a mythic origin-story that legitimizes his role in great wars.
Parākrama (heroic prowess) directed toward protection—strength aligned with a larger moral order rather than mere aggression.
