Shloka 6.26.48

वानरमुख्य-परिचयः (Catalogue of Principal Vānara Leaders)

एतेदुष्प्रसहाघोराबलिनःकामरूपिणः ।यूथपायूथपश्रेष्ठामेषांयूथानिभागशः ।।।।

ete duṣprasahā ghorā balinaḥ kāma-rūpiṇaḥ |

yūthapā yūthapa-śreṣṭhā meṣāṁ yūthāni bhāgaśaḥ ||6.26.48||

These leaders are hard to withstand—fierce, strong, and able to assume forms at will; they are the best of troop-commanders, and their troops are arrayed in divisions.

"They are difficult to resist, can change their form at will and are strong. These fierce troops, the best of the monkeys, have their units of army force."।। ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēṣaḍviṅśassargaḥ ।।This is the end of the twenty sixth sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
