यस्तुकर्णौविवृणुतेजृम्बतेचपुनःपुनः ।नचसंविजतेमृत्योर्नचयुद्धाद्विधावति ।।6.26.34।।प्रकम्पतेचरोषेणतिर्यक्चपुनरीक्षते ।पश्यन् लाङ्गूलमपिचक्ष्वेळतेचमहाबलः ।।6.26.35।।महाजवोवीतभयोरम्यंसाल्वेयपर्वतम् ।राजन्सततमध्यास्तेशरभोनामयूथपः ।।6.26.36।।

Transliteration

prakampate ca roṣeṇa tiryak ca punar īkṣate |

paśyan lāṅgūlam api cakṣveḷate ca mahābalaḥ ||6.26.35||

Translation

—he quivers with rage, glances sideways again and again, and, watching even his own tail, the mighty one springs about in power.

"Oh! king of Rakshasas! He who has made his ears stiff, yawning again and again, who is not afraid of death, who will not go back from war, who is looking obliquely and seeing his tail reacting in anger violently and roaring like a lion is a very strong leader called Sarabha. He is a very fast one, a leader of troops, ever in delight. He lives in Salveya mountain."
