The entire Vānara host has crossed the formidable ocean; and Rāma has achieved what was unheard of before—building a causeway in the sea.

Dharma here is steadfast resolve in a righteous cause: extraordinary effort is justified and sustained when directed toward restoring justice (rescuing Sītā and confronting adharma).

In Laṅkā’s campaign context, the verse highlights the unprecedented feat of crossing the ocean and building the bridge—facts used to frame the seriousness and capability of Rāma’s side.

Rāma’s leadership and unwavering determination, along with the disciplined collective strength of the Vānara host.
