लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च (Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation)

बभूवुस्तेनघोषेणसंहृष्टाहरियूथपाः ।अमृष्यमाणास्तंघोषंविनेदुर्घोषवत्तरम् ।।।।

Transliteration

babhūvus tena ghoṣeṇa saṃhṛṣṭā hariyūthapāḥ |

amṛṣyamāṇās taṃ ghoṣaṃ vinedur ghoṣavattaram ||

Translation

Stirred by that clamour, the leaders of the Vānara hosts were filled with exhilaration; unable to endure the challenge, they answered with a roar even mightier.
