लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च (Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation)
ऋक्षवानरसङ्घानामनीकानिसहस्रशः ।गिरिमेघनिकाशानांछादयन्तिवसुन्धराम् ।।।।
ṛkṣavānarasaṅghānām anīkāni sahasraśaḥ |
girimeghanikāśānāṃ chādayanti vasundharām ||
The battle-formations of bears and Vānaras, in their thousands—like mountains and clouds—cover the earth.
"Thousands of army forces of monkeys and Bears resembling mountains and clouds have settled on the ground."
Dharma is shown as collective responsibility: many beings unite for a just cause, indicating that righteousness can require coordinated social effort, not merely individual heroism.
Śuka describes to Rāvaṇa the vast allied forces of bears and vānaras assembling and occupying the battlefield area near Laṅkā.
