लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च (Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation)

शशासकपिसेनायांबलमादायवीर्यवान् ।अङ्गदस्सहनीलेनतिष्ठेदुरसिदुर्जयः ।।।।

śaśāsa kapisēnāyāṁ balam ādāya vīryavān | aṅgadaḥ saha nīlena tiṣṭhed urasi durjayaḥ ||

Let the valiant Aṅgada—hard to overcome and a terror to foes—take charge of the Vānara host together with Nīla, and hold firm at the army’s centre.

Let the valiant Angada who is difficult to win over, who is a terror to the enemies, take the army along with Nila and remain at the centre (of the army structure).

Dharma here is disciplined leadership—assigning responsibility according to merit and safeguarding the collective good through orderly coordination.

Rāma finalizes the Vanara battle formation before advancing against Laṅkā, placing key commanders in specific positions.

Angada’s vīrya (valour) and steadfastness—fitness to hold the crucial central post under pressure.
