निमित्तदर्शनम् (Portents Before the March to Laṅkā)
वाताश्चकलुषावान्तिकम्पतेचवसुन्धराः ।पर्वताग्राणिवेपन्तेपतन्तिचमहीरुहाः ।।6.23.4।।
rāghavasya priyārthaṁ tu sutarāṁ vīryaśālinām | harīṇāṁ karmacēṣṭābhis tutoṣa raghupuṅgavaḥ ||
And those exceedingly valiant vānaras, wishing to please Rāghava, displayed spirited deeds and gestures; seeing them, the foremost of the Raghu line was delighted.
"The wind is blowing mixed with dust, even the earth is cracking, mountain tops are shaking, and huge trees are breaking and falling down."
Dharma is devoted service (sevā) offered with sincerity: the vānaras express loyalty and morale-building effort to strengthen righteous leadership and collective purpose.
As the host proceeds, the vānaras energetically act to uplift Rama’s spirit, and Rama responds with approving joy.
Devotion and morale—cheerful, loyal support of a righteous leader; and Rama’s graciousness in receiving it.
