विभीषणाभिषेकः — The Consecration of Vibhishana and Counsel on Crossing the Ocean
ततश्चाख्यातुमारेभेविभीषणवचश्शुभम् ।सुग्रीवोविपुलग्रीवोस्सागरस्योपवेशनम् ।।6.19.33।।
tataś cākhyātum ārebhe vibhīṣaṇavacaḥ śubham | sugrīvo vipulagrīvo sāgarasyopaveśanam ||6.19.33||
Then broad-necked Sugrīva began to report to Rāma Vibhīṣaṇa’s auspicious words—how the Ocean should be approached and addressed.
Thereafter broad-necked Sugriva started to communicate to Rama the advice of Vibheeshana about Sagara.
Dharma is expressed as acting through proper counsel and proper procedure—approaching even a formidable power (the ocean) with respectful, orderly conduct rather than rash force.
Sugrīva starts conveying Vibhīṣaṇa’s recommended method for dealing with the ocean.
Prudence and teachability: leaders accept and transmit sound counsel for the common objective.
