Shloka 6.128.26
अयोध्याप्रत्यागमन-सन्देशः (Hanuman Sent Ahead to Ayodhya)
सोऽपश्यद्रामतीर्थं च नदींवालुकिनींतथा ।वरूथींगोमतींचैवभीमंशालवनंतथा ।।।।प्रजाश्चबहुसाहस्रीःस्फीतान्जनपदानपि ।
so 'paśyad rāmatīrthaṃ ca nadīṃ vālukinīṃ tathā | varūthīṃ gomatīṃ caiva bhīmaṃ śālavanaṃ tathā || prajāś ca bahusāhasrīḥ sphītān janapadān api |
On the way he beheld Rāma-tīrtha and the river Vālukinī; likewise Varūthī and Gomati, and also the dread Śāla-forest—along with thriving realms and multitudes of people.
He saw waters associated with Parasurama, and rivers Valukini, Varuthini, and Gomathi so also fearful woods of Sala trees and thousands of people, numerous kingdoms on the way.
Dharma is reflected in ordered, flourishing human landscapes (janapadas) and sacred sites—suggesting that righteous governance and sacred memory sustain prosperity.
The text describes landmarks Hanumān passes—rivers, forests, and populated regions—while traveling toward Ayodhyā.
Single-minded perseverance—Hanumān observes the world in passing but remains focused on completing his task.
