O noble lady of excellent complexion, this is that very spot of our hermitage; here the leaf-thatched hut is seen, fair in appearance—an auspicious place to behold.

"O excellent lady! Here is the location where Khara was killed by my straight going arrows and Dushana had fallen. Here is our hermitage covered with leaves, a well known site. It is from here that Ravana had borne you away forcibly."

Rama identifies the hermitage-site and its leaf-hut as a sacred, disciplined space of āśrama-life, reminding Sita of their dharmic way of living in exile—rooted in restraint, duty, and purity.

By pointing out the exact, visible place (“this is that very spot”), Rama grounds the narration in concrete reality, reinforcing truthful recollection of events that led to Sita’s abduction and their shared moral journey.
