Shloka 6.124.7

पुष्पकविमान-प्रस्थानम् (The Pushpaka Vimāna Offered and the Return Prepared)

एतत्पश्ययथाक्षिप्रंप्रतिगच्छामतांपुरीम् ।अयोध्यांगच्छतोह्येषपन्थाःपरमदुर्गमः ।।।।

etat paśyata kṣipraṃ pratigacchāmatāṃ purīm | ayodhyāṃ gacchato hy eṣa panthāḥ paramadurgamaḥ ||

Look to this quickly: for those who would return to the city, to Ayodhyā, this route of departure is exceedingly difficult.

" As it is very difficult to return to that city, think of the path to depart."

Dharma here is practical responsibility: once the righteous task is done, one must still ensure a safe and proper return to rightful duties (Rāma’s kingship in Ayodhyā).

After the war, the question of returning from Laṅkā to Ayodhyā arises, and Rāma notes the journey is difficult by ordinary means.

Rāma’s foresight and measured leadership—he anticipates logistical difficulty and seeks a proper, orderly way forward.
