पुष्पकविमान-प्रस्थानम् (The Pushpaka Vimāna Offered and the Return Prepared)

If I am worthy of your grace, if you remember my good qualities—O wise one—then stay here for a while, if you hold affection for me.

"O Wise Rama! If you permit me, and think kindly of me and remember me, and if you have affection for me stay here for a while."

V
Vibhīṣaṇa
R
Rāma

Dharma of hospitality and relational propriety: Vibhīṣaṇa requests, without presuming, that Rāma accept friendship and pause as a guest.

After the war, Vibhīṣaṇa asks Rāma to remain briefly, appealing to Rāma’s goodwill and their bond.

Humility and tact—Vibhīṣaṇa frames his request as dependent on Rāma’s grace, not entitlement.
