Dear one, O best of the Raghus—this boon you have asked is indeed great. Since it was not previously refused by me, therefore it shall come to pass.
"Dear Rama! that which has been sought by you is great. Nothing has been revised by me in the past. Therefore, everything asked by you will be granted by this boon."
Satya (truthfulness) and reliability: a divine king upholds his word and ensures a righteous request is fulfilled.
Indra confirms that Rāma’s requested boon will be granted.
Satya-vākya (truth in speech): Indra’s commitment to make his assurance real.
