दशरथदर्शनम् — Dasharatha’s Epiphany and Benedictions (Sarga 122)
अनुरक्तेनबलिनाशुचिनाधर्मचारिणा ।इच्छेयंत्वामहंद्रष्टुंभरतेनसमागतम् ।।।।
anuraktena balinā śucinā dharmacāriṇā |
iccheyaṃ tvām ahaṃ draṣṭuṃ bharatena samāgatam ||
I long to see you reunited with Bharata—devoted, strong, pure, and steadfast in the ways of dharma.
"I desire to see you reunited with mighty Bharata who is pure and follower of dharma."
Dharma as harmonious familial duty: righteous governance and social stability depend on unity and mutual respect among brothers.
Daśaratha expresses a wish to witness the reunion of Rāma and Bharata after the long separation.
Bharata’s purity and dharmic conduct, implying his loyalty and selfless commitment to rightful succession.
