अग्निपरीक्षासाक्ष्यं (Agni’s Testimony and Sītā’s Revalidation)
प्रलोभ्यमानाविविधंभर्त्स्यमाना च मैथिली ।नाचिन्तयततद्रक्षस्त्वद्गतेनान्तरात्मना ।।।।
pralobhyamānā vividhaṃ bhartsyamānā ca maithilī | nācintayattadrakṣastvadgatenāntarātmanā ||
Though tempted in various ways and threatened as well, Maithilī (Sītā) gave no thought to that rākṣasa, for her inmost soul was fixed solely on you.
" Although Mythili was tempted, threatened also, she had set her mind on you only and not thought of that Rakshasa."
Agni, the Fire God, testifies to Sita's purity by stating that her mind never wavered from Rama despite Ravana's threats and temptations.
It highlights Sita's unwavering mental chastity and single-pointed devotion (Ekapatni-vrata) to Rama, rejecting all external allurements and fears imposed by the Rakshasa.
